I have always disliked the fussiness of most utensil sets with the two sizes of forks and two sizes of spoons. I understand why they come that way, but it also seems to come from the era of people picking out wedding china patterns - save it for grandma's house. So when I found this set with just one size of each, I was super happy. I will say that the spoons are probably a true teaspoon size, and I wish they were larger; they feel very undersized and out of scale with the fork and knife. I also wish there were matching soup spoons that were available for purchase, but I suppose I'll live.. Malissa. Naches, WA. Sun Jul 26 2026

Soft, elegant lines grace each piece of the Ares oro five-piece place setting. Translated as "seventh heaven," an emphasis on balance and comfort is prevalent in this design. The knife is hollow-handled with a forged blade for cutting precision.

The development of our place settings all started with the mission to revive an American cutlery factory based in New York. Using stainless steel, we created an heirloom-inspired collection to accompany your table settings. Each set is tumbled alongside ceramic material, giving every piece the special, pottery-inspired patina. The Woodstock set, named after our hometown, brings refined simplicity to the tabletop.

Appealing design, but a bit lightweight and thin handled for my taste. Will keep, however.. Sandra. San Francisco, CA. Fri Jan 14 2022

The flatware exudes luxury as a lifestyle. Its cool, minimal, sexy style is inspired by influential designers like Angelo Mangiarotti and exalted through generations of tradition, technique, and superb materials. They're quite practical, too. The metal undergoes a titanium-based molecular embedding process that makes for dishwasher-safe utensils that won't corrode, oxidize, or stain.

Every item was what I expected. Gwendolyn. New York, NY. Sat May 12 2018

I would have preferred it to have a little more weight to it. Otherwise its fine. Patricia. Temecula, CA. Wed Sep 23 2026

Pricey but worth it! I searched and searched for flatware NOT MADE IN CHINA! It was very difficult! Most familiar names (and those that used to be associated with quality) are not made in America anymore. For example: Reed and Barton, Onida, Lenox, Micasa, Kate Spade. The quality of these aforementioned brands has decreased dramatically. I would have loved to buy American: yet, I only found one company aptly named Liberty. However, they did not carry a style to my liking. This product is made in Italy and made well.. Sheryl. MD. Sun Aug 16 2020

Sleek and tapered with an in-motion whip-like shape, Adjacent Flatware from Oneida features torpedo-shaped handles, shining stainless steel, and additional detail in a curved knife. Crafted of 18/0 stainless steel with a satin finish.

Perfect weight, and feels balanced in hand. The curved knife handle gives good leverage and my favorite part is the forks- the prongs are tapered at the business end. This is important because Im one of those people that picks the white thing out of the eggs before I cook them, and the tapered prongs make that much easier to do, getting it done on the first shot..
