I should have read the item description better. They are very small but they do the job I guess. It keeps the pan from touching countertop but by raising it a bit in the middle, it doesn’t cover the bottom of the pan. I feel it might work well and it does take up less space. Very nicely made, surface is straight, no dips or bulges, colors are vibrant. Yes, it is textured, that is the nature of this type of pottery.
