The Riesling glass is perfect for balancing fruit-forward white wines' high acidity and residual sugar. This glass shape has been redeveloped as part of this collection. Its diamond shape works beautifully for big and bold New World wines as the extreme angles offer more space to develop aromas. It helps to balance the fresh characteristics and high mineral components, emphasizing the wonderful fruit aromas. The Extreme glasses are named after their extreme contours. The bowls mimic polished diamonds and their wide angles allow plenty of room for the wine to breathe. They are specifically designed to enhance and emphasize the pleasant softness and generally fruity notes of the new world wines.

High quality wine glasses made by Riedel which is one of the brands known for their high-end, luxury, handmade glasses and decanters. These glasses are part of their Extreme Collection. They are machine-made, dishwasher-safe, and durable. I don't have worry about them being too precious for daily use and yet they are elegant and feel good in the hand. I can find "cheaper" glasses, but these are big bang for your buck if you want to get a quality glass and not break the bank. These Riesling glasses are the perfect size for white wine and I plan to purchase more and get some of the different kinds of red wine glasses from this collection. Highly recommend.. Lia. The Champagne Glass is perfect for developing champagne’s complex characteristics. This glass allows the wide range of aromatics to unfold. Unlike a flute, the egg-shaped design allows the complex layers to grow and intensify, and the larger rim diameter enables them to be released in a way which is not achieved with a narrow glass. The glass also includes a 'sparkling point' to aid the formation of the Champagne bubbles. As part of the Performance series, this shape was re-developed in 2018. This glass is perfect for light, fresh, dry champagnes, proseccos and sparkling wines. This product is made of clear crystal glass. RIEDEL Performance is the first wine glass series ever to feature bowls with a light optic impact for better aromatics. Co-designed by both Georg and Maximilian Riedel, RIEDEL Performance is a technologically advanced and user-friendly collection of grape varietal specific glasses.

The glass also includes a 'sparkling point' to aid the formation of the champagne bubbles. Riedel veloce is an impressive development based on state-of-the-art technology from Riedel’s factory. The series uses the latest manufacturing technology to create products that feel handmade but offer the precision of machine production. With a lighter and finer profile, the glasses are ideal for new-world wines and feature a base inscription of each recommended grape variety. Premium machine-made and dishwasher safe. “premium” defines the advantage of machine-blown riedel glass vs. Hand-made glass. The difference lies within the precision. Since Riedel glasses are fine-tuned instruments that support your wine enjoyment, we must make sure that there are no variances in the execution of the bowl and rim diameter, which is the key to our philosophy!
