Prized by professional chefs and home cooks alike, the 13-Piece Tri-Ply Copper Cookware Set from Viking serves up superior performance paired with a beautiful, real copper exterior finish. Unlike some competitor cookware sets, the Viking 13-Piece Tri-Ply Copper Cookware set is made from real copper. Because of this, your professional cookware set will show color variations caused by heat, marks from fingerprints, and will develop a rich patina over time. These natural cosmetic changes to the copper will not affect its cooking performance. Easily keep your cookware set looking like new with a copper polish such as PennyBrite by EZ Brite or with a mixture of lemon and salt. Make pre-heating pans a thing of the past! Due to its high thermal conductivity, you’ll achieve perfectly uniform heating and unrivaled temperature control. Your copper cookware will not only heat up quickly, but it cools quickly as well, making it the perfect companion for cooks seeking precision and control in their cooking. That's why saucier’s and confectionerie’s prize copper cookware to handle these delicate tasks. When it comes to cooking with copper cookware, keep your heat low to moderate and let the pan do the rest! Featuring a durable 18/8 stainless steel interior, you'll never have to worry about copper or other metals leaching into your food. The aluminum-alloy core found in the Viking 13-piece Tri-Ply Copper Cookware set evenly transfers heat from rim-to-rim, eliminating hot spots and giving you the perfect sear each and every time. These metals distribute heat more evenly across the pan while also maintaining a higher cooking temperature, even while cooking on low-to-medium heat. Ergonomic handles reduce pressure on your wrists and ensure a comfortable grip. Vented, tempered glass lids help prevent boilovers and allow you to monitor progress without losing heat. The vented glass lids also provide stability on the pan, eliminating wobbling as steam builds up in the pan. The non-porous inner layer of stainless steel makes it easy to clean and sanitize yet it is non-reactive so there is no etching or interaction with acidic sauces or other ingredients ensuring that the cookware does not impact the flavor of your dish. The set also includes a single-ply stainless steel pasta insert that fits the 8-qt. stockpot, turning it into a multi-purpose pasta cooker. The pasta strainer allows you to cook and strain the pasta with the same insert, eliminating the need to use a separate colander or strainer. By removing the pasta directly from the stockpot, it allows you to save the water for finishing the perfect sauce just like professional chefs do. Keep the exterior of your cookware looking new by cooking only on low-to-medium temperatures and by regularly wiping it with a copper polish or by using a combination of lemon and salt. Washing your cookware by hand after each use and drying by hand as well will also help to keep its color uniform. It is recommended to store your cookware in a dry location. Absolutely beautiful works of art. I showcase them as art too. Sharon. Wadsworth, IL. Fri Jul 17 2026

Revered by chefs worldwide, copper is recognized as one of the most efficient metals to cook with due to the exceptional heat transfer and control that copper provides. Copper cookware is an essential tool for creating amazing sauces and reductions as well as delicate preparations that require exacting temperatures like many desserts. Copper responds to temperature changes quickly, allowing you to adjust cooking temperature on the fly with faster results than other metals. The Viking 4-ply Contemporary Copper Cookware modernizes cooking with copper by adding an induction capable cooking base; traditional copper was not induction compatible. To make the pan induction capable, we grind the copper off the bottom of the pan, exposing the stainless steel layer. The multi-ply clad construction transfers heat efficiently across the bottom of the pan as well as up the sides. The exterior copper layer provides exceptional temperature control. The unexposed core is stainless steel and aluminum to transfer the heat quickly and evenly throughout the pan. The interior cooking surface is a non-reactive surgical grade 304 stainless steel which will not react with the acids in your food or impart a metal taste. The set includes domed metal lids that help lock in flavor as you steam or braise. The dome shaped lid helps the condensation fall back into the pan, keeping your food moist during cooking. The interior of the saucepan, sauté pan, and stockpot feature convenient measurement marking to allow you to add water without having to use a separate measuring cup. Signature Viking handles are solid cast from stainless steel and feature a heat break to help the handles stay cooler during use. They will get hotter during use when using a gas stove, so we always recommend using protection when touching cookware that has been heated. Viking Contemporary Copper is durable for stovetop use, functional enough to finish or cook dishes in the oven to 600°F and elegant enough to take to the table for serving. We recommend hand washing to maintain the luster of your cookware. Professional Series – the Gotham Steel Pro Collection was created with chefs and cookware pros in mind. Stronger than stainless steel cookware, the hard-anodized aluminum exterior is dense, nonporous, highly wear-resistant, and conducts heat incredibly well for the ultimate professional performance. The hard anodization process also ensures your cookware will stand up to years of use.

Some of my pieces came scratched on the outside. I called Gotham Steel and asked him if that would affect performance and he told me to email pictures with my Wayfair receipt.UPDATE!! I sent the pictures and receipt & was told they could replace up to 2 pieces OR if I returned the set they would replace the entire set. I asked for just 2 pieces to be replaced. They did that and additionally sent a lid for one of the pieces. They came quickly and the customer service was great. Highly Recommended for easy clean up and quality of cookware (they’re nice and heavy too!) .. Lisa. Cincinnati. Fri Dec 06 2024

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love this cookware. I had a ceramic set before, but it seemed to get way to hot and burn everything even on low. The Gotham Steel Pro Pro Premier Hard Anodized set is amazing. NOTHING sticks to it. It just slides right off the pan and is so easy to clean. The best part is it is very conductive, but does not overheat on low and burn like my other pots and pans. The steamer pot is an added bonus that works gerat for brocolli or other veggies. And they haven't scratched at all even with metal utensils (used gently).. Jenfw. Indiana. Mon Aug 21 2023

What's in the box: 1.5 quarts covered saucepan, 3 quarts covered saucepan, open skillet, 8 quarts covered stockpot, stainless steel steamer insert fit 8 quarts stockpot What is multi-ply clad Copper? Multi-ply clad construction is a combination of a 1.8 stainless steel interior with a multi-element aluminum core and exterior polished copper. Copper is an excellent material for heat conductivity and professional chefs like to use copper cookware to have precise heat control for perfect cooking performance. Discoloration: copper polish exterior looks elegant, however copper is very sensitive, and oxygen in the air, makes it tarnished even when not in use. When heating copper cookware, discoloration happens much faster. Regular polish is needed, even not in use. Do not wash in the dishwasher, wipe dry immediately, and lightly polish use a dry cloth, water residue on the surface will make it stain and tarnish. Cookware cleaner such as "Barkeepers Friend" is recommended to polish and restore the shine of copper.

These pots and pans are amazing. They are not only beautiful but durable. They can also be decorative when hung on the wall or from a ceiling rack.. Ramona. Newton, IL. Sat Oct 06 2018
