I've had Farberware stainless for 50 years, so I trust the brand. I wish they'd put another sauce pan (mid size) in the set rather than 2 skillets. And I'd like a lid for each pan - interchangeable would be fine. The small sauce pan doesn't come with a lid and the lids don't fit the small skillet. I do like the glass lids.. Vivian. It has been a year since this purchase and this is what I have done, burnt, cooked, sauteed, souped. To all the events afore mentioned cleaning it was not so difficult. If burnt, they recommend adding water, boil, wait to cool, then clean it with or without adding a cleaning agent. Me, pour hot water with dishwashing soap, leave it overnight, then wash it, dry it, put it away. There has been the occasional stubborn spot that will not come out the conventional way, so, I have used citric acid, allowed it to sit, and viola! all clean. I am all for no elbow grease anything and this has not been so difficult for me, arthritis and all. It does perform very well at lower heat settings rather than subjecting it to higher ones for long periods of time, unless its just water, lol. Great day to all near and far.. Ibbie. Coney Island.
