I purchased this to avoid having my cilantro spoiled after a few days in the fridge. Saving it in water allowed it to last longer, but it gave the smell inside the fridge and it took a lot of spice. This is the one for flour, sugar, rice, etc. Holds a good amount and is very sturdy. Same quality as other products in the line. Takes up space, so some other sizes may be more practical than this one. I was able to convert to some smaller sizes and free up space in the pantry by not using as many of this size; only when they were the truly right size.
