A new shape - simple and perfect - and a new production technology that reproduces artisanal techniques. These two important parameters paved the way for the realization of these wine glasses: Super-light and balanced when tasting, robust and flexible, the glasses transmit the quality and the intense aroma of the wine, designed to develop an excellent mouthfeel by creating a perfect equilibrium amongst various components of flavor, the glasses allow for a pleasant aftertaste and the bowl’s shape creates a unique decanter effect. True wine aroma is powered by the aromatic chamber and the flat base bowl. True wine flavor powered by the bowl profile and perfect rim. True wine color powered by Son. Crystal glass and perfect glass distribution.

You immediately sense Kahler's heritage of proud, traditional craftsmanship when you hold the stem and drink from the new wine glasses in Kahler's Hammershoi series. The proportions are balanced and classic, and the design language of the wine glasses in interaction with the iconic grooves highlights the classic, yet contemporary expression of the series, which is eternally current on the table. The grooves almost rise up and carry the round bowl at the top. Notice also the details, where the stem tapers both at the top and bottom – a clear reference to the design tradition that is the hallmark of a Hammershoi vase. The glasses come in a package of two red wine and white wine glasses, in either a clear version or a version with a green stem and base, which adds yet another new dimension to both the iconic grooves and the table setting.

I’m very happy with these glasses. This is the first time I’ve bought wine glasses with texture and I was worried that they might feel cheap but they look and feel like high end wine glasses. I was also a little worried that the mouth of the glasses was going to be a little small but it’s fine, no issues there. They have a nice weight to them, not too light but not too heavy. I have no problem recommending these stemless wine glasses, I really like them and enjoy using them. Oh and they came very well packaged, none arrived broken which is always a fear when ordering anything glass.. Jennifer. North Bend, WA. Thu Oct 17 2024

A generous bowl gives wine room to open up, set on a stem slim enough to hold between two fingers. Dishwasher. Safe. Crystal. Enough said. Seriously, I've been wanting replacement stemless wine glasses for a set I bought at a tree-based store where everything is the same low price. But, I'm also lazy and not about to hand wish dishes, not even crystal. These are perfect. We've had them now for a couple of months. The soft ameboid shape and gently hammered texture of the glass seems worthy for a party of angels so we named it Shaner. The generous curve of this roughly triangular-shaped glass makes for easy drinking and impressed guests. Hammered texture comes from the hand hammered molds in which we blow the glass. Yes, every little dent or ripple is the impression of the human hand. The resulting play of light through the glass is as elegant as it is alluring. Machine washable.
