These vases are a bit awkward looking. They remind me of a large milk bottle shape. The finish on them gives a birch bark look. While it says they are durable and can be filled with water, the paint is chipped a bit inside, but it appears to be glaze underneath, so, maybe that's the case. Beautiful vases, just as described, exactly what I was looking for. Would have given them 5 stars; however, they only shipped 1 when it clearly said it was a set of 2. I contacted customer service immediately & they were very helpful & shipped the second one. Unfortunately, when it arrived, it was broken. It was packed very well & there was no damage to the box. I believe it was broken when it left the manufacturer. Once again, I called customer service & again they were very helpful. Received the vase today & it was in excellent condition.
