Exactly is as pictured and arrived safely (no broken pieces). Because of the flat shape of everything, they not only stack better and take less space in my cabinet, they fit better in my dishwasher. These dishes are gorgeous and quite heavy. They seem to be hand made, as the bowls are not all the exact same shape. Not a problem for me, and they are solid and feel high quality.
