Love love love this entire line. We replaced a set of 25 year old dishes with these. I ordered 4 of the square dinner plates for serving. They don't stack as flat as the round version and take more room in the dishwasher so not practical for everyday use. Ordered everything else in round--dinner, salad, cereal, and very cute appetizer plates (4 1/2" diameter)--great for rolls/butter, underplates for condiments etc. there are a few differences in thickness in everything-plates and bowls. If you are a perfectionist, beware! But I like this unexpected characteristic--makes it seem closer to hand made. Highly recommend.. Lee. Stevenson, MD. Wed May 06 2026

This set of 4 dinner plates were constructed out of fine glass material and decorated with a bold gold trim. Its beautiful shape, size, and design makes it ideal for every occasion. Whether you choose to display it by itself or to combine it with its expanded collection, these plates will truly enhance your table setting.

Layered with my other porcelains, these plates give the tabletop an easygoing and reflective quality. You can dress them up or dress them down. They are a good quality and resemble another glass maker who is 10 the price. Good buy!. Lucius. Oxford, MS. Sun Sep 13 2026

Blomus Kumi ceramic plates create a beautiful dining experience, either every day or on special occasions. The tabletop range features typical Japanese shapes in natural colors, and in addition to typical tabletop items, also includes traditional Japanese items such as a small bowl for soy sauce and the characteristic tea mug without a handle. It is created with the Japanese process of reactive glazing, which comes out differently with every firing and reacts to the slightest variations of oxygen in the kiln. True to the Japanese philosophy of Wabi Sabi, in which beauty is found only in the imperfect, the pieces will feature slight variances such as dots or irregularities which are part of the reactive glazing process. These characteristics of each piece are considered traits of the object's personality and lend to its sophistication. Colors complement one another beautifully and can be mixed for a stunning presentation.
