The joint between the stainless and the handle is smooth and they went through the dishwasher fine. I bought them to use as appetizer serving utensils because of their interesting looks. I really love these! They are well made and I’ve put them through the dishwasher multiple times and they come out great! I hand washed the first few times like the instructions said and then did the dishwasher. Igot the pink and greeen per my kids picks and love them. The well-balanced weight and smooth body curve make it very comfortable to handle in your hand, and also not easy to get cracked or deformed.
