This is a beautiful set that sits on my office desk. It is a lovely set as pictured, but I should have thought through putting sweaty drinks on leather! Oh my! I keep a box of tissue on my desk to put over the coasters so that I don't mar the leather. I know! Silly, huh? They are lovely, I'm unclear about the functionality...I do know that I'm not keen on cleaning coasters every week, so the tissues are working out just fine, thank you.. Annette. Champaign, IL. The use of high-grain leather ensures that the Bramfield Four Round Coaster Set with Holder in Black by Ebern Designs is sturdy and will last for a long time.

Handmade cowhide coasters, cut from genuine hair on hide and finished by hand. Every hide is different, so the browns, blacks and whites fall in their own way on each coaster and no two in a set are ever identical. Each one measures 4.5 inches across, enough for a tumbler, a mug or a stemmed glass, and the hide gives a soft base that sits flat and grips the table rather than sliding. Choose the longhorn, the star design or the plain hide, in sets of four, ten, fifty or a hundred for a bar, a rental or an event. Real leather rather than a print, they spot clean and stack away between uses.

These coasters are extremely durable and easy to clean. They blend well in any home décor whether it is rustic or modern.

Ok so these coasters are not the most beautiful things in the world. However, if you are a parent with little kids who love to take things and slam them against the coffee table or use coasters as throwing stars with their siblings then these coasters are the greatest things on the plant.
