Id gotten this to match the rest of the sets I had. I put 4 sets on my wedding registry, but gifted 3. Since getting this set, Ive already put this to the test microwave and dishwasher friendly. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Stone Lane Vince 16 Piece Stoneware Dinner set in gray, is a great looking set. The front of the plates are glazed and the back side is not. Some have pretty rough edges on the bottom. When they sit in the cabinet they do not lay completely flat and they make a nails on the chalkboard sound if you just pull the plate off of the other instead on lifting it all the way up to pull it out of the cabinet.
