Packaged extremely well and arrived in perfect condition. Love that they’re not symmetrical and the color is beautiful!! These are not flimsy dishes and you can feel how substantial they are when you hold them. Not heavy, but not a thin Corelle either. I wish I had read the description when buying as I thought I was buying a set for 4 (my mistake). I normally wouldn’t spend that money on only 1 place setting. Very versatile and functional. The plate is very large. It's a dull black. This could be used for a very large meal, with multiple items or even as a serving dish. All the others are ceramic, see closely on second picture, very attractine pattern. The very large pasta dish could be used for a large pasta meal, and you could put garlic toast on the side.
