[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been looking for a new set of plates as our old ones are starting to chip. I was a bit nervous about these being shipped to me, but thankfully everything arrived intact! The color was slightly different from what I was expecting, but overall these are good plates.. Ar93. A perennial favorite, Shell Bisque distinguishes itself through its thin porcelain body. Soft, translucent glazes are applied by hand, leading to complementary hues where every piece has its unique shade. Compared to the polished pastel interior glazes, the exterior unglazed bisque finish has a grainy sandy eggshell texture. The high firing temperatures of these pieces make them strong and functional. Sustainable and stylish for any occasion.

Beautiful set! We get so many compliments on our Shell Bisque place settings. They look great, and it's so convenient that even though they're ceramic, they're also dishwasher and microwave safe.. Mandy. Saint Joseph, MI. Thu May 09 2019

Set your table up for a multicultural tasting extravaganza every night. The dinnerware place setting creates a layered and textured appeal that offsets any culinary creation. Roasted red peppers with a hint of char surrounding a tender, juicy skirt steak will make mouths water in anticipation. The entire set beckons to those who seek a unique way of plating. The hard porcelain set comes with a dinner plate and a smaller plate that can host your choice of appetizers or salads. An accompanying bowl for salads or tube-shaped pasta will always be a hit while the smaller plate begs for desserts like flaky baklava for an extraordinary finish to your meal.

Only wish it wasn’t so expensive. Hope to buy more pieces.. Mary. Cleveland, OH. Wed Sep 18 2024
