ISLAND CARAFE BLACK

Roman. Sarasota, FL. Mon Aug 25 2025

A genuine Moroccan institution, the beldi glass has served as the everyday tea glass of Moroccan families since 1949. This tapered carafe features a raised ridge that makes it easy to hold, even when filled with hot tea. Each piece is mouth blown from recycled cola and beer bottles, so slight bubbling and organic variation are part of its handmade character. The glass is fired at high heat, then cooled slowly in a furnace for a resistant, long lasting finish. Made in Morocco.

This wine decanter is the perfect color and size. The glass is very smooth and it is a nice weight. Not too heavy but definitely not delicate. Sturdy enough for daily use. Would also make a nice water or juice pitcher. Cleans up easily. Would recommend.. Lorraine. Midland, TX. Sun Oct 22 2023
