The kettle heats very quickly, the temps are adjustable, and its lightweight. It is a deep burgundy color, not a true red at all.
The color-coded temp indicator in the water window is cute but not of any real value. The keep warm setting is not very convenient as it doesnt have its own button to engage it and it automatically stops if you take the kettle off the base so you have to reengage it every time you pour. All temp settings are cancelled when you lift it off the base.
None of these are deal-breakers for me, its just a kettle after all and it works well, but this information may have steered me to select a different option.. Juli. Wed Jun 19 2024
