Colorful silicone surrounds a sturdy metal core that enables the spoon to mix or stirs thick batters (like cookie dough), yet be flexible enough, like a spatula, for scraping. The angled shape makes it easy to slide under food, and the slots allow draining. Dishwasher safe stainless steel. When all the right people and ingredients, kitchen tools, and food come together.

I apparently bought this four years ago, and you know what? It might be my favorite cooking spoon too! It's a good balance of sturdy and flexible, with a thin edge that lets you maneuver and enough of a shape that you can spoon things up fairly well. Mine's accumulated a few dings here and there but overall is still in good shape and nowhere near retirement. Would buy again.. Margaret. Somerville, MA. Thu Jul 02 2026

How U-Taste makes a better solid/slotted spoon? (1) BPA free premium materials. U-Taste kitchen cooking spoon is made of high heat resistant silicone, safe for food contact. It can deal with daily cooking and serving tasks. 600°F heat resistant makes it more than adequate for simmering or even boiling food stuff. Unlike steel spoon, it would not damage your non-stick cookware. Unlike wooden spoon, it would not shred, get flaky or moldy even in a moist environment. The sturdy inner core makes sure it is stiff and tough enough for stirring and serving heavy food stuff with no piercing issues, and can still provide a soft comfortable grip as it is silicone coated. (2) Seamless integrated design instead of two-piece. We make the serving cooking spoon into a solid one-piece construction. No dripping water, no breaking issues, no bendy handle during your mixing, stirring, frying and basting work. (3) Reasonably sized long handle. If the handle is long enough, it can fit in most large and deep pots to scoop things out rather than only fit for frying pan. A long handle can keep your hands away from the heat while cooking and stirring as well. We keep the length within a reasonable and ergonomic scope, so it would not be too short to use in pots nor too long to fit your drawer or even lose balance. You can use it as a serving spoon at the table as well. (4) Perfect balance of stiffness and flexibility. With a strong inner core, you can find no bending issues when using this spoon to stir or scoop heavy stew. The handle is sturdy and yet the spoon head has a soft edge. It is soft enough to conform to the sides and bottom of the pot and so to easily scoop up the final bits of food. The softness makes it a perfect partner for your non-stick cookware.
