The Taylor® Precision High-Capacity Digital Kitchen Scale is your new kitchen workhorse! With an expanded capacity up to 33 lbs., this scale can be used for precise portioning, measuring baking ingredients, weighing food for dieting and even weighing heavy meats (such as stuffed turkey or rolled roast) to determine exact cooking times. The key advantage to this scale is the innovative HOLD feature. When using a scale with a high capacity, it is expected that a large bowl, plate or container needs to be used for weighing your food. But when the bowl, plate or container is covering up the readout, the HOLD feature comes in. Simply weigh your food, press the HOLD button and the weight of the food is displayed even when the bowl, plate or container is removed. No stretching or wrangling to see the readout again! This scale features a clean, glass platform with black back paint and brushed stainless steel accents for a modern, elegant look. With a capacity of 11 lb (5 kg), you can weigh a variety of items with ease. You will be surprised at all the uses you will have for this product.

I LOVE this scale! It's perfect! And it doesn't take up much counter top space to boot! I love the way it looks. I love that it comes ready-to-use right out of the box, as it includes batteries already in it. I love that the bowl is removable so you can use it measuring in the bowl, or take it off and measure without the bowl for bigger items. I love that it measures weight from 0.1 ounce to 11 lbs! I love that you can zero it out to start the measuring weight part from whatever you want (like if something is in a container, you could zero the container then add the weight, etc). To read it in 0:00.0 lb:oz... before the colon is whole pounds. After the colon is ounces up to 15 ounces. And after the decimal is for tenths of an ounce. So in the picture, my summer squash is 8.7 ounces. Very easy to read! LOVE IT!. Megan. US. Mon Aug 10 2026

Portion control is a large aspect of a healthy diet, and food scales can certainly help with that. Weigh your chicken breast, then your broccoli, then your cluster of blueberries to determine if they’re weighing in at the suggested healthy amount. Or weigh your entire meal together! Placing your snacks and sweet treats on a kitchen scale is the quickest and most simple way to determine if you’re eating the correct portion size each meal. For example, if a healthy serving of chicken is 3-4 ounces, you’ll be able to place your chicken on the scale to ensure it is consistent with this weight. Yes, food scales can help you lose weight! Regulating portion and serving sizes is just the beginning. Weighing your food is a healthy habit because it holds you accountable for what (and how much!) you’re putting in your body. If you’re looking to lose weight, using a food scale assists you in keeping up with your diet and healthy regimes.
