This wine rack is simple and functional. The directions are easy enough, yet I still managed to mess it up. I had to take it apart and that’s when some of the dowels broke. This is a very nice looking piece, but the assembly instructions are terrible. I've put together LOTS of furniture, and this is one of the worst sets of "instructions" I've ever seen. I had to take some of it apart and start over because things were in the wrong place. And in doing that, a couple of pieces of wood splintered. Also, one of the drawer parts had the groove cut on the wrong side. Thankfully I had the right tools to make it all work, but many people would have to wait for a replacement.. Miriam. Some of the holes are a tiny bit ragged, and it would be better if there were dips carved into where the bottoms of the bottles sit so they wouldn't tilt, especially when rolling the rack.
