It's great for the time I used it! It comes in pieces that you stack together, it's quite sturdy once you have the weight of the wine bottles on it and easy to build and take apart since there are no screws or nails involved. I actually stained all the pieces to be a darker color and match my other furniture. I used this for a year or two before upgrading to an actual wine fridge though, because I don't have central AC and there is too much temperature fluctuation in my home for storing wine (especially in the summer, it gets wayyy too hot in my house for wine -- it HAS to be in a fridge). There should be 3 ¼" space between the metal bars for a rack. If you're placing multiple racks side by side, then you should allow for 9" to 10" between the racks. I'm not sure if my walls aren't standard or something, but the way you have to mount this (the distance between each vertical has to be the width of a bottle) makes it so one side or the other isn't on a stud.
