Thin, tapered edges slide under eggs, pancakes, fish fillets and cookies without tearing or breaking them. Inside the silicone, a reinforced nylon core adds rigidity, so the head does not bend under heavier foods like burgers. The turner measures 13.25 inches long, and its 3.25 inch wide head supports sandwiches and pancakes as you flip. BPA-free silicone is heat safe to 600 degrees Fahrenheit and will not scratch nonstick, cast iron or ceramic cookware. The sturdy stainless steel handle gives a comfortable, balanced grip and adds strength when lifting. The silicone head resists stains and odors, and the whole turner is dishwasher safe.

I was not expecting a set when this was delivered, but I really love Tovolo products, so I am absolutely okay with this. I like utilizing wood and silicone utensils to help protect our cookware. The Tovolo Flex-Core All-Silicone Spatula is the one tool that handles mixing, folding, scraping, spreading, flipping, and serving from start to finish. A sturdy nylon core runs through the handle and into the head, so it pushes through thick batters and hearty doughs without bending. They taper to sharp points, and a rounded corner fits right into the seam where the wall meets the bottom, so nothing gets left behind. The broad, flat head and smooth surface spread frosting evenly. One-piece construction seals out food particles, so there are no joints for batter to hide in. The silicone handles heat up to 600 degrees Fahrenheit and goes straight into the dishwasher.
