A longstanding heritage, made new for your tabletop or bar collection, 10 Strawberry Street Mexican Glassware is the stunning result of artistry meeting function. Since the 1500s, when glassblowing was first introduced to North America, artisans in Puebla have preserved this traditional technique—blowing into a metal conduit to shape and spin glass heated to a molten state in a classic hearth. Passed down through generations, this craft continues today with an eco-friendly twist. Each piece is made from recycled cola bottles—each color uniquely forged by a different artisan—and is completely lead-free, ensuring they are as sustainable and safe as they are timeless and beautiful. However, this cultural art is increasingly at risk, as fewer in the upcoming generations are training in the skill, making each handcrafted piece a true treasure of tradition.

These glasses are extremely thick and there are many imperfections in the stripes. Some are smudged and some are not straight. The glass has bubbles in some places and they do not sit flat. They wobble. They are also extremely cloudy, even after a thorough dishwasher cycle. I would not purchase these. You will be disappointed.. Laurie. Sat May 09 2026

This lovely hand painted margarita glass from World Menagerie is inspired by the colorful tiles of the Alhambra. This glass has an extra 'twist' as the black is chalk paint and can be written upon! Something to be handed down from generation to generation. Proudly hand painted in the USA.

These Margarita glasses are about the most beautiful glassware I've seen. Perfect weight and size, bright colors and so fun. I bought these first 4 glasses to put in a basket for a non-profit auction. When I got them, they were so wonderful, I promptly bought 8 more for my personal use. Those arrived and loved them so much, I ordered 8 Martini glasses of a different pattern. Check out this manufacturer's website for many styles of glasses and different patterns. Besides personal use, these would make such an extraordinary gift. I wish I had more cabinet space in my kitchen, I would love to have more in every pattern!. Kellee. Vancouver, WA. Thu May 31 2018

These are absolute garbage. The glass is not blue glass, it has a blue coating that peels away after going through the dishwasher. They say dishwasher safe in the description. The first glass to begin peeling had been through the dishwasher once. Extremely disappointing. They don't even deserve the single star.. Anonymous. Wed Jan 26 2022

This style of glass comes with a stunning aqua blue swirl pattern that is blown into the glass. Each glass is hand crafted from recycled glass by a team of skilled artisans in Mexico, with no two pieces made the same! Enjoy this one-of-a-kind glassware, and note that some variations such as size, bubbles, or other imperfections should be expected.

I’m not really sure how best to rate these. My instinct is to say 3 stars, because of poor quality control from the manufacturer, but then Wayfair sent me a full replacement when I only had asked for a single glass replacement for the one that was cracked and chipped. I’m not sure that I would recommend these. I get that they’re handmade and so variation is expected, but it seems like the kind of handmade that is focused solely on producing quantity and not quality. I didn’t have a single glass that had a seamless swirl design that matched the photos. They all had weird drips and uneven portions, as well as sometimes the ends of the blue swirl being dragged across the rest of the design in places. Purely for utility, they seem fine, minus the one that arrived cracked and chipped. But if you were getting these for the aesthetic like me, you might be disappointed.. Natalie. Placerville, CA. Aquamarine dissolves into a vibrant lemon hue in the refreshing design of these highball glasses. Designed by Javier and Efren each glass is crafted with Mexican blown glass techniques, in which artisans blow through a metal pipe while twirling it with one hand. They simultaneously shape the molten glass at the other end, expertly achieving this color effect. Because each piece is handmade, shape and size can vary slightly and tiny bubbles may appear within the glass. This exemplifies the hand-blown technique, making every piece a unique example of blown glass craftsmanship.

This exemplifies the hand-blown technique, making every piece a unique example of blown glass craftsmanship.

I absolutely love these glasses! They are a perfect match for a set we already own. Just a heads-up: definitely stick to the upper shelf of the dishwasher. We learned the hard way with our previous pair that the bottom rack causes them to crack.. Lisa Bergstrom. Palm Springs Ca. Tue Apr 28 2026
