Good set. Had it for a few years now. These pictures are after 3.5 years of heavy use. If you want to see what it would look like. You can see scratches from cutlrey but nothing too bad to be honest. Only thing is the cup handles broke for a couple cups. I don’t know if it is because we always machine washed them or what… but I had to order another set for this reason.. Nada Ali. Vancouver, BC. Beloved for its sophisticated simplicity, versatility, and durability, Lastra is our bestselling collection. The Lastra 4-piece place setting is a wonderful starter kit for a Lastra collection. Lastra’s design was inspired by the circular wooden slabs used for centuries to create the outer mold in cheesemaking throughout Italy. When fashioned together with twine, the hoop was left with a slight overlap to help maintain the shape of the cheese mold. Maestro molder Stefano Roselli incorporates the overlapping detail into the entire design, from its foot to its rim. A dark dusting on the edges of each piece suggests the ash that was used to preserve these cheeses and highlights each unique silhouette.
