The 4-cup espresso and cappuccino machine uses a steam/boiler to quickly heat water until steam is produced. The steam creates pressure to force the water into the filter holder and through the coffee grounds to brew the espresso directly into the glass carafe. When the espresso has reached the bottom line marking on the glass carafe, you can stop the brewing and switch to frothing milk. When you finish frothing, turn the selector switch back to the coffee brewing position. The powerful steam/boiler reduces warm-up time to less than 2 minutes, producing 2 to 4 cappuccinos or lattes in less than 5 minutes.

The last cappuccino espresso I bought from Wayfair was much sturdier. It had some stainless steel in but the new one is smaller and almost all plastic. However, after just 2 uses, it seems to work ok so far.. Adele. Washington, PA. Fri May 29 2026

Enjoy your favorite espresso drink in the comfort of your home without waiting in line or over-paying. Use the frothing nozzle with adjustable steam control to perfectly steam or froth milk for a variety of authentic, café-quality beverages like lattes, cappuccinos, and more. With two brew head spouts, you can brew 2 cups of flavorful espresso at once. You can make multiple drinks before it's time to refill the 50 oz. removable water reservoir that's simple to remove, refill, and replace. Unlike a steam machine, you can add water without turning the power off. The water level is easily visible and eliminates guesswork. This machine is designed for easy cleanup as the drip tray, cup rest, frothing nozzle, filter holder, brew head, and water reservoir are all removed for cleaning in warm soapy water.

Creating quality espresso drinks at home is easy and fun with the KitchenAid Semi-Automatic Espresso Machine. The same process used at the coffeehouse has been simplified for at-home use. Put your twist on espressos, macchiatos, cappuccinos, martinis, affogatos whatever you’re in the mood to make. Dual, smart temperature sensors maintain the perfect brewing temperature shot after shot. And the fast-heating thermocouple technology heats water to the ideal brewing temperature in less than 40 seconds. Rich, creamy espresso is just a grind, tamp and brew away.

I love this machine! I had been wanting to get an espresso machine for about a year, but was going to hold out for one of the ones that's approx. $1,200! My sister told me I was nuts to consider spending that kind of money when there were great ones on the market for hundreds less & then she pulled up Kitchen Aid as an example and we looked at videos of it online too. So I decided to treat myself to machine as a Christmas 2023 gift! All I can say is "Oh my goodness, it's awesome!" I will not be spending another cent in Starbucks ever again! You produce a better tasting product with this baby and it's gorgeous on the countertop too. Now to take this to the next level, I'd recommend purchasing a 58mm bottomless portafilter (3 ear prong) & the puck (58mm) vs the KA portafilter. My choice felt it has more holes to properly extract the grinds and for me creates that perfect crema people kept mentioning that I was not able to produce before. You will not regret this add'l purchase, this addition will produce that coffee house quality beverage every single time! Oh and I did also purchase the KitchenAid Burr Coffee Grinder (again that was my preference) which I found works spectacular and looks divine on my countertop next to the espresso machine. I got this espresso machine on sale during the holidays, so the feeling of realizing you were snagging an amazing product but on sale made this decision a no brainerl My only regret is I wish I had gotten this sooner. I suggest getting the coffee beans and grinding yourself...I tried both in the beginning and found there was no comparison. I purchase the Lavazza Super Crema Whole Bean Coffee Blend (but did start out with Starbucks Espresso whole beans and liked it too). Plus the smell of after grinding your own beans is simply like nothing else. So no ground coffee...do it the right way! The silver frother mug KA sends...is just too small, it's only 8oz in size. I found a larger size was necessary, so I purchased a 20oz frothing mug and no longer worry about milk spilling out because 5 ozs of milk rises quite a bit at boiling point. Choose well, choose KitchenAid a tried and true brand.. Maranda. Suwanee, GA. Thu May 16 2024

I love our new coffee machine! I've been using a De'longhi machine for years now, just an older model so was a bit unsure if I wanted to go for this machine since it uses buttons instead of the knob that I'm used to, but I love it. I was having a hard time setting it up at first because it was not cleaning as was expected before the first use but I watched the first YouTube video that popped up on how to do it, and it also showed me how to program the machine buttons so that I can get more than just 2 espresso shots in one button click. It looks chic and it's easy to use!. Yashodhara. Miami, FL. Wed Sep 30 2026

At the touch of a button, it prepares the full spectrum of hot drinks from intense espresso to on-trend flat white. It also opens up a whole new dimension in the enjoyment of coffee with the introduction of cold brew specialties. This is made possible thanks to the Product Recognizing Grinder (P.R.G.), which recognizes the chosen specialty and instantly and precisely adjusts the fineness of the grind accordingly. This is an absolutely incredible budget espresso machine that is astonishingly well priced. The espresso comes out great. I use a setting of 10 microns on my burr grinder with the dual filter and it works nicely. The machine didn’t like when I set it to 5 microns or less. Comes with a lovely portafilter. I wish the heating on the top was a little stronger and bigger, but overall I am so glad I got this as my first espresso machine. Would be a good gift for a coffee amateur.. Eli. IL. Thu Jun 04 2026
