The holly leaf is the most iconic symbol of the Christmas season — sharp, glossy, abundantly green, and unmistakably alive with the spirit of the winter celebration. The Festive Blooms 3-D Holly Platter honors that symbol by becoming it completely. Eighteen inches of stoneware cast in the form of a single, botanically faithful holly leaf — every vein pressed with precision, every lobe sharp and organic, the whole surface covered in a deep, luminously glossy forest green glaze that catches the candlelight and glows. A platter that is also a sculpture. A serving piece that is also a seasonal declaration. Set it. Fill it. Let the holly lead the feast — this extraordinary 18-inch stoneware botanical sculpture that is also a platter, this seasonal declaration cast in deep, glossy forest green, this piece that earns the center of the holiday table through the sheer, immediate, undeniable beauty of a single, perfectly realized botanical form.

The Colombina collection features a lovely design, characterized by a sculptural approach: elegant, new and pleasing plates, containers and cups made from different materials and in different colors. This complete set opens the evolution of being on the table at the same time with its gaming component, its attitude to change in the composition of the items on the table. They can easily be placed side by side like a welcoming pile of petals.

Love the shape of this platter. Use it as a fruit bowl sitting on my contemporary kitchen island.. Karen. New York, NY. Thu Oct 16 2014
