This stand electric mixer has many positive features including three attachments for different cooking needs. I like the cover that can catch splatters, and the 10 different speeds will be helpful for types of foods. I found the directions for attaching the blades a bit confusing since there is an arrow under the bowl pointing clockwise that I assumed were for the blades as well as the bowl. I couldn't make the blades lock in position until I realized they locked in counterclockwise. Also, trying to beat just one egg white did not work for me as the blade did not reach down far enough.
