Michael Wainwright’s Truro glass collection is patterned after his classic dinnerware pattern, Truro. Michael worked closely with craftsmen at a factory founded in 1892 in Slovakia, to recreate his signature hand-wrought details in the collection. The Truro collection is inspired by walking barefoot on the beaches and gold dunes of Truro, Cape Cod, capturing the timeless shifting of ocean, wind, and sand. Not only do experts know that the drinking temperature plays an important role with white wine. For instance, young, fruity wine is poured at about 7–11 degrees Celsius; but a complex white wine or sweet wine can also be enjoyed at 9–12 degrees Celsius. Needless to say, this temperature should be preserved in the glass for the longest possible time. Therefore, the high-quality Zwilling Sorrento “Bar” white wine glass prevents the chilled wine from being warmed by the hand or ambient temperature: Its outstanding insulating effect is based on the double-walled execution and the use of borosilicate glass. As a material of high quality, it is impervious to different or fluctuating temperatures. This way the wine remains chilled in the glass and you can take your time and enjoy it. As soon as you pick up the traditionally mouth-blown Zwilling Sorrento “Bar” wine glass, you become aware of its lightweight and pleasant form. Naturally, to ensure simple cleaning. It is available in a set with two glasses.

With a very young, light, and fruity red wine, experts prefer a drinking temperature of about 12–14 degrees. On the other hand, a powerful, intense wine should ideally be drunk at 18 degrees. To ensure perfect enjoyment, the warmth of the hand or the ambient temperature should not be transferred to the wine in the glass. For this, the double-walled red wine glass of Zwilling Sorrento “Bar” offers a high-quality solution. A very good insulating effect and its borosilicate glass, which is impervious to fluctuating temperatures, ensure that beverages retain a constant temperature. Then you can take all the time in the world and enjoy your red wine – also on the terrace in summer. The Zwilling Sorrento “Bar” red wine glass is mouth-blown according to a traditional method. The result: unique glasses of high quality that, needless to say, are dishwasher safe. Regarding their handling, the glasses have a pleasing lightness and modern form. With plenty of sensitivity, they have created a glass that is uncomplicated and looks good on every set table. The Zwilling Sorrento “Bar” red wine glass is available in a set with two glasses.
