Everything has been Meraviglioso!! The plate sets match my lava stone table that I bought in Italy and had shipped to me! Color was perfect, they feel sturdy. I read a few reviews that said they had some chipping of their plates. I have had stoneware before and I feel these should not easily chip unless of course they are dropped or not handled with care. Pfaltzgraff Stoneware is great for casual dining. There are a few imperfections but not really noticeable and I only noticed it during my careful inspection upon delivery. I haven’t used them yet but I’m a little concerned about the decorative rim holding up after repeated cleaning in the dishwasher. They came very well packed and I didn’t have any broken pieces..
