The Mikasa French Countryside flatware set is a quaint design, versatile enough to coordinate with multiple decorating styles. It has a highly polished finish which I plan to hand wash and dry most of the time, although Im sure it would hold up well in the dishwasher. The weight and balance is good, but I find it slightly more cumbersome to use than another set I have. In my pictures I show another older European sized set that is slightly larger, and a vintage set that I consider human sized, along with the Mikasa set in the center. I would prefer to buy American made these are made in Vietnam. Overall, I am happy with my purchase, and Wayfair has competitive prices and fast shipping.. Ritzby. USA. Mon Sep 14 2026

It was also the beginning of an interconnected, transatlantic world where styles bent to asymmetries and pop music warped to rock-n-roll. Take off to the flowing sculpture of the mid-century with Flight.

I bought this set because it very closely matches my original 8-place Oneida flatware set. I was a little disappointed that this flatware is a bit lighter weight than the original, and that “China” is stamped on all the forks and spoons. Why?! So annoying.. Sandra. Ridgecrest, CA. Tue Feb 27 2024
