At first, I was very disappointed. Very minimal packaging meaning the dish set was not protected AT ALL!! We received 4 of these in the mail and they ended up going directly into storage. We waited 10 months before opening... our fault for not opening before. However, once we opened and discovered that there was 1 broken plate, I called customer service. To my surprise, customer service was AMAZING. They lady I dealt with was super helpful and even replaced the 1 salad plate the came broken. I am so happy with the customer service I received. I bought this with the matching dishes. I love the whole set. The quality is great and it came direct from red vanilla (the actual manufacturer). They came well packaged without any issues. The platter and serving bowl do not fit in my upper cabinets but that could be because my cabinets are older and the door is inset. Otherwise, they would fit. I do wish there was a gravy boat and other serving bowl sizes but there are very few dish sets with those available anymore. Very nice quality. Has a nice weight to it without being overly heavy. The colors are beautiful and it has a deep blue to it, with a shiny finish. I've actually been using the small plate, bowl, and mug as decor (as shown in picture) It comes with one set, but would be worth getting a full set. Everything is nicely sized to use daily. Not shown is the dinner plate. I was trying it in the dishwasher and it came out just fine.
