These are pretty and fit in my beach theme but they are just about useless. They are so stiff you cannot grasp your oven rack or whatever type pan you might have in the oven. They are not sold as a pair but as a single mitt. I bought two, not thinking about the fact that Id get two right-handed mitts. You have to put one on backwards to have a mitt for your left hand..
