Neelesh tried to help me but he was not able to provide a person who could help me achieve the correct temperature for this induction cooktop. The unit could have been damaged in transit because the package was not intact when 8 received it, even though the unit was still snug in there. I'm not confident that the new one being sent won't perform the same way. Deborah. Sun Sep 27 2026

Happy with the induction plate so far. The only thing that is is missing is is an actual temp read out instead of pre programed selection of numbers from 1-9 where the default temp selection is 5. I'll get used to to it. Manual and the underside of induction plate recommends one hour use and two hrs of rest. Doesn't sound like a long usage time.. Robert. Niagara Falls, ON. Wed Sep 30 2020

I’m very happy with this double burner. It arrived well packaged and completely ready to use right out of the box. I tested it shortly after receiving it and was impressed with how quickly the burners heated up. I purchased this specifically to use out back when cooking foods that may create a lot of smoke or strong odors that I would rather keep out of the house. For that purpose, it’s absolutely perfect. It’s lightweight and easy to move around, but still feels sturdy and well made. I also like having two independently controlled burners, which gives me plenty of flexibility when cooking. 1500W Portable Infrared Hot Plate, Single Burner Electric Cooktop with Knob Control & 3-Hour Timer, Countertop Ceramic Burner with Handle, Works with All Cookware

This hot plate burner is really nice. It heats up quickly and when one is done and you turn it off it has a display that says hot until it has cooled down sufficiently. My stove had one burner go out so this will be a nice addition to the kitchen where I can have four burners going at the same time rather than 3 which was inconvenient as I always needed all four burners when doing a large meal. The knob on the front turns it up and down. Plug it in, hit the right button to turn on. Hit the left button to get temp going and then turn the dial on the front to adjust up or down. You can use several styles of pans which are listed in the description on Wayfair. I think this will be a great addition to my kitchen.. Linda. Mead, WA. Tue May 12 2026

Tayama Induction Cooker 1500-Watt uses less energy and provides practically instant heat and since there are no open flames or hot coils, is safer to use than conventional burners. It allows for instant control of cooking energy for precise cooking control. Induction cooktops are designed to be used with ferromagnetic material like cast iron, steel, enameled cast iron, enameled steel or stainless steel. If a magnet sticks to your cookware, it will work on an induction cooktop. When a ferromagnetic cookware is placed on the ceramic surface, currents are induced in the cookware and instant heat is generated due to the resistance of the pan. The magnetic properties of the steel in the cookware will concentrate the induced current and generate heat. Once cookware is removed, all molecular activity ceases. Heat is generated at the cookware only so the cooktop stays cool. Will not work with aluminum, copper or glass cookware. ETL certified.
