The Proctor Silex® Countertop Double Electric Burner has a 1000 watt burner for fast cooking – it will boil 5 cups of water in 15 minutes or less – and a 700 watt burner that's perfect for simmering and warming foods. With adjustable temperature control on each burner, you can easily boil water for coffee or tea or prepare a meal on one side, while warming a side dish on the other. The double burner lets you add extra cooking space where and when you need it most. It's perfect to use for the holidays, during home renovations, when entertaining or for pot lucks. You can even take it on vacation. The burner fits anywhere and is easy to carry. The smooth ceramic coating on the 6" diameter cast iron cooking plates is nonstick, making cleanup a snap. The burner works with ceramic cookware and many other types of cookware material, even aluminum (which will not work on induction cookers). The burner is great for woks, Dutch ovens, frying pans, kettles and more. The True Induction TI-3B three-burner cooktop is among the best induction cooktops available. As one of the largest units in the True Induction line, it features three burners, enabling you to cook multiple dishes simultaneously. This cooktop can be used as a countertop inset (UL858 certified) or as a portable unit. True Induction cooktops are equipped with several built-in safety features. One notable feature is the sensor that detects when a pot or pan is placed on or removed from the burner. If you forget to turn off the burner but take the pot or pan off, the cooktop will recognize this and, after a standby period, will automatically shut off, creating a safer cooking environment. True Induction cooktops utilize magnetic technology that heats only the cookware, providing an energy-efficient cooking process while saving you time and money.

We ordered this as a replacement for one accidentally damaged beyond repair. Other than that we have been very pleased with our cooktop. Karin. FL. Tue Oct 29 2019

Tayama Induction Cooker 1500-Watt uses less energy and provides practically instant heat and since there are no open flames or hot coils, is safer to use than conventional burners. It allows for instant control of cooking energy for precise cooking control. Induction cooktops are designed to be used with ferromagnetic material like cast iron, steel, enameled cast iron, enameled steel or stainless steel. If a magnet sticks to your cookware, it will work on an induction cooktop. When a ferromagnetic cookware is placed on the ceramic surface, currents are induced in the cookware and instant heat is generated due to the resistance of the pan. The magnetic properties of the steel in the cookware will concentrate the induced current and generate heat. Once cookware is removed, all molecular activity ceases. Heat is generated at the cookware only so the cooktop stays cool. Will not work with aluminum, copper or glass cookware. ETL certified.

This product is specifically designed for ease of use. This unit is 100% portable and can be placed wherever there is an outlet, which renders it ideal for camping, barbecues, or special occasions. Additionally, this appliance is a safer and more efficient alternative to traditional cooking methods. The induction technology greatly reduces the risks of burning and fire associated with gas or electric cooktops and is highly energy-efficient. Furthermore, because it uses electromagnetic fields to create heat, the induction cooktop heats up faster than its counterparts, making it an all-around must-have.

The 30-in 4 elements black induction cooktop with certified is a perfect combination of style and practicality. The sleek black finish and built-in design offer an attractive look for any counter. A Red led display with a black glass surface helps achieve a modern look that complements the entire kitchen. Sensitive digital control and up 99 minutes timer will help you to cook perfectly and accurately. Power boost mode for maximum power for a short period of time. During the past years, Empava induction cooktops have been a very popular choice for kitchen upgrades and new builds.

This is my first induction stove so I am still leaning about it. However, I do like the quick heating response, and the fact I know it's using less power is great. I like the flat surface that doubles as more counter work space and ease of cleaning. And so far, I have been able to use all of my cookware on the stove. It is not as selective as I was led to believe. The cycling on and off takes a bit to get used to because when the stove cycles off, it stops cooking momentarily and there is not a lot of residual heat to keep the food cooking as in radiant stoves. Also the buttons are really sensitive and when wiping up spills, it is easy to turn the stove off. Overall, I am very pleased with the stove and look forward to cooking more dishes on it.. So far I like this cooktop. I'm used to using induction and find it clean, predictable and efficient. But it does make a lot of noise, both with the fan running the whole time while cooking as well as each time I plug it back in (because I don't like leaving devices on standby).. Madeline.
