This is one of the best toasters I've ever used. There is nothing wrong with this except 1 thing. Rita, the tray on mine is pushed or pulled inside on the bottom, opposite side of the buttons. Unfortunately, it was not made in the USA. I wonder if it can be rotated, for the purpose of melting butter, or other dairy safely at a horizontal position… as of October 11, I want to edit this with a picture to show what happens when trying to make grilled cheese in here. The reason I did that is because I do not currently have a convection oven. I tried it once as an experiment and will never do that again because it caused that dent and charring. It almost broke the lock From staying down before food heats up. I have cooked thin tacos in here before along with bagels and Other pastries, all fine. Do not try to make grilled cheese with it. Very nice toaster. In fact it is beautiful and worth the money spent. It has a setting on the outside of the toaster which you can select for how much you wish for the darkness of what you are toasting and has a screen of the total wait before it pops up.
