Sturdy material. Note that tag is "reversible" reading RED on one side and WHITE on the other. The provided felt tip pen has point that is too thick to write much legibly on tag. Also, it's a permanent marker, which is okay if you plan to hold your wine for 10 years or longer. Otherwise, you'd be better off getting an erasable marker (with a thinner tip).
