This was a good price. Barrel has a very light finish so as to allow some breathing but keep from staining. Very nice barrel, I cleaned mine out and filled it with water. It didn’t leak at all. Seems to have a nice char. Today I filled it with 20 liters of red wine to age. I hope it adds that flavor my home made wine has been missing.. Anonymous. Wed Jul 31 2024

I got this as a gift for someone and I wanted it to be impressive so I got the largest one. It was huge. If I did it again I'd get a smaller one. It is a very nice piece though. I'm not sure if he has enough whiskey to fill it. I personally did all the prep to make it leak proof. Directions were easy to follow and it definitely is impressive. Great craftsmanship!. Michelle.
