Had looked for a reasonably priced butter dish that was cobalt blue. Found one similar to this one at another store, but was more expensive. Liked the look of the speckled blue in the plate. However, when I received it, it is not very speckled - hard to notice and the cover is slightly lopsided so does not sit snugly on the plate. The plate also is very large.
