Unsure if it’s just my item, but there isn’t that much space as shown in the photo. I tried both my kitchen and pantry cabinets.. both different thickness and the typical size of a normal shelf. HOWEVER, if you just pull / tug a little, you can fit your cups. Still be careful since space is limited and cups will clank. Overall, I needed some organizing of my cabinet.
