I will give our disappointments first then the things we like about this oven. If you want toast, it takes 8-10 minutes to get both sides browned. The bread gets super hard in the process because of the time exposed to the heat. We have tried all the settings. Nothing seems to give you a brown top on bread, etc. quickly. For various timed functions, you must press start after the oven notifies you it has reached the temperature or the time function will not engage. However, it will keep cooking for a period of time. The things we love It’s big!! I can season all of my frying pans in this oven. It is Definitely nice when cooking pizzas. In lieu of the microwave, we can reheat 2 full-size plates of food at once. Can cook 4-5 different foods at once depending on pans needed. Ex. Bake cornbread on one rack while three different vegetables roast on the other rack. I really like that the display is completely off when not in use so no extra electricity to keep the display lights on.. Anonymous. Wed Jan 17 2024

Sturdy and large enough to hold nearly anything. I use toaster ovens often, rather than turning on the big oven. It saves electricity and you can keep an eye on what's warming. I don't microwave very much because it changes the texture of food. Only a few things survive microwaving.. Taimi Gorman. Bellingham, WA. Thu Jul 16 2026

After 15 years, my old toaster died and I couldn't believe how hard it was to find just a simple toaster to replace it! Partly because I was shopping during COVID, I guess, and stocks were low in all the stores, but even online all I could find were tricked out monstrosities that featured a dozen too many functions and took up all my counter space. Finally found this one. It's still a little larger than I wanted, but it's attractive, reasonably sized, sturdy, and works well so far (I've had it for less than a year). I wasn't looking for an air frier, but I have used it a couple times and it works well. Mostly though, it toasts well -- and that's all I'd wanted. Has a roomy interior, good-sized glass door so I can see what's going on in there, and toasts pretty evenly. Also cooks pot pies and French bread pizzas well. Sometimes I find it hard to read the labels on the knobs, but overall I'm pleased with this purchase.. Dj. Reston, VA. Mon May 31 2021

Four simple cooking functions: bake, broil, toast and keep warm make mealtimes easy. A 30-minute timer reminds you when your food is ready while the Stay On function allows for longer cooking tasks. A handy rack helps the air to circulate all around food, or use the baking pan for meat, fish and more. A drip tray cleanly collects any excess fat, and a removable crumb tray keeps the inside of the oven mess-free. There’s no need to let cold air in as you check on your meal’s progress – just glance through the viewing window to see how it’s doing. Easy to use, easy to clean and with simple pre-set functions, the Black+Decker Natural Convection 4-Slice Toaster Oven is a convenient way to cook the food you love!
