Once it arrived, I used it the very next day. After making pasta by hand with no motorized assistance, I really appreciate this attachment. It has the basic necessary components to make fresh pasta and a pretty good variety of thicknesses. It was super easy to operate. I would be very cautious if you have long hair, and don’t wear an apron with a strap that is freely hanging. I made linguini on the 4 setting and will make it on the 2 setting next time. I prefer my pasta to be a bit thinner. 4 looked good but it did get a bit thicker in the boiling water. I used a simple recipe with 3 1/2 cups of “00” flour, 4 eggs, and a 1/2 teaspoon of salt.
