I loved my set so much so I purchased one more during 4th of july sale. Nevena. Lockport, NY. Sun Jul 10 2022

It is strikingly beautiful in its simplicity. I like the fact that it can be used in the microwave and put in the dishwasher. The color variations match my kitchen perfectly. The dishes were very well packed and arrived in perfect condition. Most of all, these plates don’t show gray marks from eating utensils. I am so glad that I decided to purchase these plates with the red flowers. Added. Had these plates probably over a year. Design is coming off. Some plates are almost white. I am so disappointed because these plates were very pretty. I paid a high price for poor performance.. Barbara. The Villages, FL. Fri Apr 23 2021

The collection is defined by its use of elegant contrast. Subdued lines encircle one another while bold reflective metallic elements frame each piece while simultaneously framing your most beautiful dishes.

I love modern art and this design fits my personality and decor perfectly! The bone china is exquisite and as a home chef, I wanted a solid white, yet elegant backdrop for the food I serve my guests. I don’t like doing dishes, so my new pattern had to be dishwasher safe, as well as be able to be used in the microwave. The product description says that “Orbit” was safe for both. However, when I put a bowl in the microwave to warm some leftovers, the metal around the rim started sparking and almost caught fire. When I immediately took it out, it was so hot that I burned the inside of my thumb! I would have easily given this set 5 stars, had this not happened. Wayfair and one other retailer are the only ones who list this set as “dishwasher and microwave safe.” The manufacturer and all others state that because of the metal trim, it is only “dishwasher and warm oven” safe. I still LOVE this set even though we’ve had to make adjustments when warning food. I just hope that Wayfair changes this pattern’s product description, so that others don’t have the same unfortunate experience that I did. dishwasher sStillStil. Angela. Inglewood, CA. New ironstone is hard to find, but you will fall in love with it. Feels and looks like China but is tough as nails.
