I just washed these for the first time and they came out wonderful! Most placemats after washing you need to iron them, but these I didn't need to! The colors didn't fade at all either. They are a bit thinner, but they still work great. I purchased the matching napkins to go with these though and the colors did not match at all. The design is really cute. They are kind of strange since they are a thin mostly synthetic (?) material that has the design printed onto them. I had one in a set of another design that was printed crooked so I had to get a replacement. Make sure you check them all before they go into a drawer.
