I have bought and tried and returned so many food processors. None ever were what I wanted or needed. I had the big cuisinart. Way to heavy to get in and out of the cabinet anymore, and operation was a pain in the butt. I have the hand crank type that would flare my shoulder bursitis for days on end, every time.So in desperation I ordered this. It actually sat in my cupboard for 5 months. Never even tried it. Needed to grate a 2lb block of cheese. Shoulder was already hurting, so I got it out. First this thing is so light weight, not in a flimsy way. Set it up which was very simple. Used the shoot bowl and placed the container I store my cheese in underneath it. You DO NOT have to put your body weight against the food pusher to hold it in. Very light pressure, just enough to keep the pusher from bouncing. This thing is quick, dosnt bog down, shoots the cheese out perfectly, and dosnt clog. Like I said, perfection. And so easy to wash. I downt have a dishwasher so thats important to me. And it dosnt take alot of room to store. So if your older, bursitis, arthritis and loss of strength this is the perfect processor for you. It is a must have for any kitchen, but especially for families with babies. It has made my purée making process so much easier. I like that I can steam a bunch of squash, save a portion for family dinner and then transfer the rest right over to the blender to purée to feed my little one. Because the steamer portion comes in two trays, I’ve also been able to steam broccoli to give as treats for my pups. Since the broccoli takes longer to steam than the squash, I like that I can start blending the squash while the broccoli is still being steamed. Being able to simultaneously do both at the same time is nice and provides for a lot of flexibility that is much needed in the kitchen. Another great multi-use function is that I can sterilize baby products if I need to. A minor drawback is how large this appliance is as it takes up quite a bit of counter space. However, I do like that the trays and blender allow for a larger capacity of food. Overall, the steamer was quite strong, the blender blades were sharp and it was easy to clean.
