The electronic grind selector allows you to choose the perfect grind setting from coarse to medium to fine - indicated by 3 green lights. A quantity control knob allows you to grind 4-12 cups of coffee and shuts off automatically. It is easy to use with the on/off push-button control and the transparent lid and ground coffee container lets you easily view the ground coffee quantity.

Grinding fresh whole-bean coffee immediately before brewing is the first step to achieving the best-tasting coffee at home. Ground coffee interacts with the air around it and, within hours, loses a great deal of flavor and aroma. The longer the ground coffee is exposed to air, the more flavor is lost, and the rich, full-bodied taste of the coffee cannot be obtained.

Our first try into espresso machines and we purchased this casabrews grinder to complete the set. It is nice that you can set your grind perfectly how you like it. The display is responsive and you can easily set it and it saves your preferences for future use. The grinder is not super loud and works well. The included baskets hold the portafilters in the right spot for grounds to drop right into. There is a switch on the front once you place the portafilter in and if you push it back too far it auto starts the grind, so make sure you have it set how you want it first.. Angela. Orlando, FL.
