I apparently bought this four years ago, and you know what? It might be my favorite cooking spoon too! It's a good balance of sturdy and flexible, with a thin edge that lets you maneuver and enough of a shape that you can spoon things up fairly well. The Tovolo Nylon Flex Turner with Stainless Steel Handle flips pancakes, eggs, fish, burgers and cookies with enough bend to slip under food and enough stiffness to turn it in one motion. The nylon head flexes slightly, so its tapered edges slide between the pan and the food without breaking yolks or tearing delicate fillets. A honeycomb pattern on the back adds grip and keeps the head rigid, so it does not warp under heavier foods like burgers or stacked pancakes. The nylon is heat resistant to 400 degrees Fahrenheit and will not scratch nonstick, ceramic or cast iron pans. A brushed stainless steel handle gives a balanced grip and keeps your hand a comfortable distance from the heat. The turner is about 12.3 inches long, BPA-free and dishwasher safe.
