Nautical & Beach Butter Dishes

Enrich the coastal theme of any kitchen or dining area with this darling butter dish. The illustration-inspired silhouette, embossed detailing, and versatile hue make this the perfect accent for a home away from home, or seaside sanctuary. Shaped to look like a sweet whale peeking up through the waves, this serving piece deserves to be displayed on tables and counters all day long. The whale's tail doubles as the handle to lift the lid and reveal its contents of delicious sticks of butter.

One of the cutest and unique butter dishes I’ve seen. It’s perfect size to hold not just butter. If you like room temperature cheese this is perfect. It has plenty of room for a nice sized cheese wedgeblock. It also works great for guava paste.. Maria. Sugar Land, TX. Tue Sep 22 2026

With an aqua blue pastel and whale-shaped design, this dish brings fun and practical seaside highlight to your kitchen table and counter. Protect and store butter after each use while keeping fresh at room temperature, and safely shielded from unwanted kitchen odors. Leave out to brighten up breakfast or bring out for special occasions as a fun way to present cheeses and chocolates.

This is a nice display piece, not sure why they call it a butter dish because it's way to large for that but makes a nice centerpiece on my kitchen island.. Kristine. Sudbury, MA. Wed Jan 20 2021

An amazing detailed figural of the distinctive sperm whale top Vagabond House’s fine stoneware butter dish. The pure pewter whale finial serves as a mini-handle for the dish.
