Beloved for its sophisticated simplicity, versatility, and durability, Lastra is our bestselling collection. The understated elegance, clean lines, and unique shape of the Lastra utensil holder make it a timeless choice for your kitchen. Lastra’s design was inspired by the circular wooden slabs used for centuries to create the outer mold in cheesemaking throughout Italy. When fashioned together with twine, the hoop was left with a slight overlap to help maintain the shape of the cheese mold. Maestro molder Stefano Roselli incorporates the overlapping detail into the entire design, from its foot to its rim. A dark dusting on the edges of each piece suggests the ash that was used to preserve these cheeses and highlights each unique silhouette.

This utensil crock is made of rust-resistant heavy gauge stainless steel with a beautiful white powder coating. Use it for spoons, whisks, spatulas and other frequently used kitchen utensils. This utensil crock will decorate any kitchen perfectly and durable.

Overall, I really like this utensil holder. It is bigger than most I found - in fact I feel like I need to buy new prettier utensils to go in it! I love it in my little tray of kitchen items. However, it arrived with some of the paint chipped off near the rim. It is not very noticeable so I chose to keep it, but it is always a bit annoying when something brand new arrives in less than perfect condition.. Emily. Brunswick, OH. Mon Sep 13 2021
