I actually love the base, but it is definitely not white. I would say it is more of a yellowish cream with a taupe pattern through it. If you’re wanting pure white, this is not the vase. Very on point with the current trends in decorating! Received quickly and I've already put it with the decor on my family room coffee table. Does seem to be rather cheaply made however.
