I LOVE this scale! It's perfect! And it doesn't take up much counter top space to boot! I love the way it looks. I love that it comes ready-to-use right out of the box, as it includes batteries already in it. I love that the bowl is removable so you can use it measuring in the bowl, or take it off and measure without the bowl for bigger items. I love that it measures weight from 0.1 ounce to 11 lbs! I love that you can zero it out to start the measuring weight part from whatever you want (like if something is in a container, you could zero the container then add the weight, etc). To read it in 0:00.0 lb:oz... before the colon is whole pounds. After the colon is ounces up to 15 ounces. And after the decimal is for tenths of an ounce. This Baking Scale By Ozeri is very high quality and works amazingly well. It is slim and made with tempered glass, but holds a large mixing bowl. It takes 4 AAA batteries which are included. I’ve been wanting to buy a digital kitchen scale for quite some time, but just never committed because I wasn’t sure which one to get. There are many things I love about this Ozeri model, one being how light weight it is, as well as thin! I can slip it in with my cookbooks so it’s out of the way, since I don’t have much counter or cabinet space. Another great feature is the size of the digital numbers, and the brightness. I can see how many ounces or pounds something is easily because even when I weighed a package (one of the main reasons I wanted a scale) I was still able to see the weight easily! The stainless steal is nice to be able to wipe off and when I’m done weighing my products, the scale automatically shuts off after a minute. A bonus, in my opinion at least, was the calorie guide booklet that is included. I’ve never much thought about weighing my portions, but this is a really great idea to help on the road to eating more healthy! Oh, and another thing I really like about this scale, aside from the batteries being included, is that I don’t have to use a screw driver to get to the battery area! That earns bonus stars for sure!. The true beauty of a kitchen scale is that your baking is much more precise if you measure ingredients by weight, so your results are more consistent. And you can, for example, put the mixing bowl on the scale, TARE it (zero it out), add the flour, TARE it, add the sugar, TARE it, add the cornstarch, TARE it, etc., so you don't need a bunch of different measuring tools. In the photo I took, you can see that my Ojai Pixie Tangerines measure 15.2 ounces, so that's great for my recipe that calls for about a pound of tangerines.
